I 'm using henchies and we get there and the quest updates to defend the village from an attack of afflicted mobs. It doesn't that well and all the npc's i was supposed to meet (su, talon silverwing, etc) end up dying. I forgot to put a rez signet back on my skill bar so can't revive su to get my reward and finish the quest.
Yes I'm an idiot but i didn't need it for the warrior insignia training so took it off for that. Also the henchies won't revive anyone either so i'm really stuck.
I decided to abandon the mission, thinking it will restart but brother pen we won't talk to me now and neither will togo.
Any ideas how i can restart the primary quest?
Thanks in advance.|||First off you can only res members of your party, you can't rez su or any other NPC outside your party (hench+heroes).
Second you should be able to go to the person who gave you the quest in the first place and take it again.|||Even if you did have your rez signet, you can only use it on party members, not NPCs.
Try talking to Zho in Jaya Bluffs.|||Go into your quest log, select the quest, click the 'abandon' button, then go back to the npc who gave you it and pick it up again.|||Very much appreciated. I thought i'd screwed up big time. I thought the person who gave me the quest wasn't talking to me but obviously the quest changed once i'd got through jaya bluffs.

Got the quest from the Royal Food Taster, accidentally clicked Abandon, and now he is not marked as having the quest to retake.
Logged out and back in, quest not available.
Checked all preceeding and following quests per wiki and re-did Tihark Orchard, got teleported back to Kodash, still cannot get the Primary Quest again.

Also, did you try talking to the guy anyway?|||If you fail the quest "To the Rescue", there is no need to abandon it and retake it from Zho. Simply go back to Seitung Harbor and head back to Haiju Lagoon. There should have been a message on your screen about this, telling you to return to the nearest outpost and start over. As long as the quest is in your log it will simply reset to the beginning when you do this, as if you had just taken it from Zho.
This applies to any quest where you have to keep NPCs alive. You never need to abandon the quest and retake it from the original giver if you fail. Just go back to an outpost and then follow your compass as usual.|||As BrettM said, if you had failed any quest a flash message would appear saying something like " Quest failed. Go Back to the nearest town or outpost to restart ". Most people ( including myself when I first started plaing GW ) missed that message because they would be cursing, banging heads on table, raging etc by then. Just look at your log, it would say about the same thing. Once your character started out of the door again, everything would clear and your log would show as if you had never failed, and just follow the arrow.|||Hey everyone, this is the guy who needs help, not the OP.
