hahahahaha. Oh, how I wish. As someone else said, probably about 6.5k and people complain *that* is high. They dropped below 5k for quite a while.|||Check the rare mats trader. Usual going price is about 500g less then what the trader sells it for. Trader usually buys them for 1k less then that.

Check this price if you intend to buy from people, as they will offer to sell something like 15-17 ectos for 100k. Use calculator to figure out if that's a good deal, and if you have wiggle room to get them to add one more in.

(15 ectos for 100k means you're buying them for 6666.66g each

17 ectos for 100k means you're buying them for 5882g each.)

Something to note, when people are selling stuff, try and get an idea of it's general worth, as these people tend to not negotiate very much on ecto amounts, even when the ecto price surges. If ecto price has gone up a bit much, you can use that as a leverage tactic, but as I said, sometimes they're not willing to. At least right away.

I have told people an item is worth only xxx amount in cash, and the ecto price they're asking for is to mucn now. Depending on how bad they want to get rid of it, they'll either tell you to sod off (nice way of putting it) or consider what you're saying, and they sometimes get back to you, and accept the price you mentioned.

Some people can actually work the market in ectos by buying low, selling high.

But that's a game in and of itself, and only those with the patience to stand around and do nothing but sell can accomplish something like that. The rest of us want to either dump stuff, buy the stuff we're looking for, and then move on.|||Quote:

If I remember correctly they went from 15k right down to 3.5/4k then back up to around 10? :)

OFT 12characters.|||Yeah, I know. I probably shoulda just said that and moved on. But sometimes, while most of us may not want to PLAY the market, it doesn't hurt to KNOW the market, and if you see a bargain, to be able to grab it.

Basicly, if you see someone selling ectos for something better then 17 for 100k, it's worth picking up.

PROBLEM though, with all the accounts getting stripped... I'm worried I'm buying from an account stripper if I get to good a deal.
