Confused About What to Do

I am playing Factions and purchased the pet pack add on. My character is a level 14 Ritualist/Monk. If I am understanding correctly, I need to use the ranger charm skill in the Zaishen Menagerie to get my pet. The problem I have is how to get the ranger charm skill. How do I get the charm skill at this point and from who? Is there another way to get this character a pet that i am not aware of? Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.|||It's a ranger skill. You must be a ranger (in your case, secondary or Ritualist/Ranger.) After you complete I think its the 4th mission, there will be an NPC called "Profession Changer" that will let you change your secondary profession at will.|||For starters, to have a pet you need to be either primary or secondary ranger. Since your character already seems to have secondary profession, you won't be able to change your secondary via the secondary profession quests on the starter island.

However, you will be able to change your secondary to any core profession and the professions specific to the chapters you have access to on your account, once you "ascend." The ascention in Factions is also called Weh No Su, and is achieved by beating the Nahpui Quarter mission on mainland Cantha (it's the second mission in mainland Cantha and 4th in all of Factions). Once you beat the mission, you will be able to change your secondary profession through Senji in Senji's Corner (which conveniently is the outpost you spawn in when you beat Nahpui Quarter) or Profession Changer in Great Temple of Balthasar (GToB).

Also, while you are able to reach the Profession Changer in GToB once you reach Kaineng Center and before beating Nahpui Quarter, he won't change your secondary until you are ascended.
