Thanks for the help, noob needs it. :)

(and yes im aware of the irony involved in posting a "i dont want to miss xmas" thread on boxing day and it makes me chuckle).|||Zen Daijun (think I'm spelling that right) is right before the short quest chain that takes you to the mainland in Cantha. After you get there, you can run yourself to Kaineng Center, to the North, and from there pick up a quest to go to either Lion's Arch or Kamadan (the Lion's Arch quest being a bit easier, but the Kamadan quest being perfectly simple given that you've got a full party of lvl 20 henchmen).

Either of those will let you see the decorations, but you might need both if there's different hats in each (I don't think there were last year, but it may have been done in years past, I forget).

So you're really close; It'd probably take your Necro about an hour to get to both locations.

Your Warrior, provided he has some cash, could just pay 2k to get a run to Lion's Arch from Ascalon City...some cheerful folk might even take you for free, given the nature of the season.|||Exactly what he said.

Finish Zen Daijun, take the boat to the marketplace, the take the NE exit into an area (I forget its name) in which you move straight north to kaineng center. In kaineng center, there's quest givers that give you several quests, one which by the description takes you to Prophecies (Lion's arch), the other to Nightfall (Kamadan). There's a third quest to go to Eye of the North (more on that below). Take all three, if you do all 3, you won't miss a thing.

The EotN quest is a bit longer, as if first takes you to a short mini-mission, then to the Boreal station outpost. From there, you need to make your way to the EotN outpost. This is the 3rd and final place where holiday stuff is happening.

Doing the EotN quests unlocks a rare pet that you should not miss. Also, on Jan 1st, you need to visit Lion's Arch & Kamadan, where every 3 hours hats will be given out. 2 hats per city (depending on who wins the minigame), so 4 hats to collect.

Aside from the 4 hats & the pet, anything else you may experience will come back next year.|||Thanks guys

A huge releif to hear im so close, now as soon as the baby goes to sleep i can see the sights

Thanks for the quick and friendly replies guys, this is why our board should be the official first stop for GW doodz - its just that kind
