Are Conjur worth it?

Thought I might ask a more in depth question here for some of the more experienced folk.

1) Are the various Conjure enchants worth putting on your skillbar?

2)Do they really give you good numbers as far as damage goes?

3) Are they something you should be putting on your bar early on?

4) Is it worth getting a specific type of weapon or weapon mod to accommodate the enchant?

5) are some professions better off without using the enchants?

(ranger I'm thinking is a key one)|||Edit: I'm retarded.

I think they are worth it, as the damage is armor ignoring.|||Quote:

To somewhat explain that, the added damage is armour ignoring.|||It works like this.

In order to use a Conjure, your weapon must be elemental. Therefore, the reduced damage you deal with your weapon is based on the elemental armor of your enemy. This means, instead of dealing mediocre damage to warriors, because of their high physical armor, you'll end up doing mediocre damage to rangers, because of their high elemental armor.

However, the damage the conjure gives you is armor ignoring, so it can be a big plus, even when facing rangers.

In other words, yes, conjures are well worth the skill bar, even on rangers. The only professions that really don't get a use off of them are caster classes, since they deal mediocre weapon damage.|||One thing to note is that SoH is just ridiculously powerful in pve, so you might as well use that instead.|||Quote:

An example: http://guildwars.incgamers.com/forum...86#post5630586|||I wasn't sure that the conjure was armor ignoring, I just thought it was the same damage as the conjure.

Also, at what attribute level do you have to put the ele stat at to start seeing a good result in damage?

I notice if I put like just 5 into it, I only get +11 out of it.|||Quote:

I'm probably too late lol, but

1) Yes

2) Yes

3) If you want/not really

4) Yes

5) Only use conjures on bars oriented around attacking with your weapon. It's completely useless to put a conjure on for example a necro.|||Quote:

You'll usually end up with about 10 in that attribute.
