Perma nurfed?

A couple of days ago, a friend told me that they'll nurf perma again at the end of february. Does anyone knows if this is true or not?|||They've mentioned that it is a problem skill, so it's incredibly likely that they will decrease its capabilities or change its functionality entirely.

Also, there is a skill update coming up, and these are the notes for it:

While we continue a larger playbalance project that includes drastic changes to Shadow Form...|||Date to be confirmed, but they are working on it. According to latest news, it was not mentioned as part of the new update, but it was (along with 600/smite) part of the Krewe's workload.|||Hopefully, they'll keep 600/smite alive but add things to prevent it from running missions/dungeons/elite areas, while outright killing Shadow Form.

Yeah I know: in my dreams. |||When they start nurfing SF totally, I hope they're people who'll find fast new farm methodes... :S|||The most rewarding thing should always be normal play. Then rewards should be adjusted so that things are not too time-consuming. Like UW & FoW split. Like Kurz/Lux title faster to achieve. And so on.

RIP perma. 600 was fun, but I'd be happy to see them removed from runs.|||With stuff like Nicholas the Traveler in the game, I'd like to see some form of solo/small team farming remain. Not Shadow Form, though: it's just too hard to stop it from being a running build.|||I'm not against farming or solo play, I personally think many of these are quite fun, challenging, and look forward to solo play in GW2.

But many players drop actual play in favor of farms and runs, sometimes because it's vastly more efficient to do so. This is where problems start.

Perhaps if rewards for completed books >> farm rewards, and running builds didn't work in missions, we'd see more players playing the game.|||A Zaishen mission (what goes for "normal play" these days, I suppose) brings in around 2-4k + maybe some nice drop, if you pick up everything. And the average mission/dungeon can be completed in let's say 30 minutes for an average team. In other words normal play nets somewhere around 7k/hour.

That - not books, IMO - should be the metric for rewards (except for rep points and such, of course).|||/signed for using zaishen mish as metric. I love those, and they are definately the standard for PUG behavior these days.

Provided those can't be run... because a few of those can be and are run.
