question about GW purchase

Hey again, me and my buddy bought GW trilogy from steam 2day and it didn't contain Eye of the North or something like that, so if we bought it not on the steam but a serial from an other person will it work? And where we need to enter that serial? |||I'd recommend not buying a code from someone, you have no way of knowing if it's been used or not. You can buy EotN from a store and add the code to the account, there's a link in the login/char selection screen for that (account management). Or if you don't mind paying a couple dollars more, you can just buy it from the in-game store (accessible form char selection), and it will be added to your account automatically, without you having to add the key at all.|||If you buy it from a reputable seller on ebay or amazon's marketplace, you'll probably be fine. Just don't try to get it from someone in game.

If the key has already been used then it will tell you when you enter it. You will want them to send you the actual physical printed code though, as Anet will want this if you have account problems in the future.

Once you are at the character selection screen, at the bottom will be a button or link saying Edit Account. Just click that and the rest is pretty self explanatory. You want to apply the code to an existing account if it asks. If it says you have an invalid code (as opposed to one that has already been used) then be sure to check that you have entered it correctly. A few of the characters are easily miisread.
