paragon in prophecies campaign

So my friends are all getting together to start new chars and beat GW Prophecies Campaign. They only own the 1st game, and I own Prophecies and Nightfall. My question is, can i start a Paragon/Dervish or Dervish/Paragon and get it to my buddies who are starting out in prophecies.

If you then are able to, my next question would be would gear drop for my char that i can use while playing threw Prophecies campaign, (example a scythe). And will i have to buy all my skills?

Thanks a Ton!|||Yes...you can get ferryied to consolate docks and get over to Lions Arch, then a run to Ascalon City.

You won't get non-core weapon drops while there, and you will have to get your skills from NF trainers/tomes. Best bet...buy a cheap max damage weapon, then snag the first heroes and go have fun together - as for skills, I would probably go find a decent build, then use Balth faction(one full 10k bar from doing Zaishen/RA/Codex should do the trick) to unlock skills for it, get tomes to put them on that char.|||You can pvp and use tomes as was already suggested.

AND/OR use a lot of warrior skills.

AND/OR you can pop back over to Istani any time you want and buy the para skills with the money you make playing in Prophecies. Those skills contain many of the basics that will be on your skillbar at one point or another throughout the entire game. Anthem of Flame and Spear of Lightning are awesome skills. It may be worth your while to play the NF campaign until you are able to unlock the para Sunspear skill, because if you enjoy PvE skills, it will never leave your bar again.

At level 10, you can also take 7 minutes or so to get to EotN outpost and pick up a few more skills (and heroes.)

In less than a few hours you can also make it to Yohlon Haven (in NF) and pick up another batch of skills, and also go cap Cruel Spear in Arkjok Ward, At that point you'll have more than enough skills to put together a quality end-game bar.

Edit: I responded to your title of "para", but everything I said pretty much applies to dervs as well. You can use warrior skills on dervs or use tomes, but their elites and early skills are going to be slightly more hampering than early para skills.|||Thanks alot guys, you helped this noob out ^_^
