How do you deal with the enormous mobs of Stone Summit dwarves that slow you for 66% or cast Cripple for like 15 seconds? I know "Charge!" can break free of Cripple, but what about the 66% slow? I forgot what it was called but it's a ice-type spell. I can't seem to get through Iron Horse Mine without dying to these guys!
Btw, I've got 80 AR Templar set:
-Templar Helm of Major Swordsmanship (I think I might switch this when I have more money to a tactics or str helm)
-Templar Cuirass of Minor Strength
-Knight's Templar Gauntlets
-Templar Leggings of Minor Tactics
-Templar Boots of Minor Vigor
When I'm running I have 13 str and 11 tactics. I've also got a +30HP, -2 dmg in a stance shield . What am I doing wrong?|||You obviously have some GW experience and are level 20. If you're doing it for yourself, just ignore them and walk through unharmed at a slightly slower speed. If you're doing it for money, take Shadowform and/or whatever the running meta is.
When I run foreign chars to Ascalon I usually just give an ele or para hero FB and Incoming. No possible way in hell you can die in NM like that.|||Oh yea, I forgot to mention that I only have Prophecies, so I kinda have no idea what you're talking about xD. But yes, I'm doing it for money.|||Heh. That makes it more interesting. I think your only option is going to be IMS (Charge and Sprint probly) plus Holy Veil and Remove Hex with Mending Touch. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.|||Quote:

Mending Touch is Nightfall. Mend Ailment would be the alternative for Prophecies-only, I think.
However, Holy Veil isn't going to help much against a gauntlet of ice golems with Frozen Burst, which has a 3/4-sec cast (1.5-sec under Holy Veil). About the best you can do is try to stay out of nearby range of ice golems, which is pretty tough on a narrow trail, and rely on Holy Veil to protect you against their Ice Spikes.|||Ok, so I figured out how to get through Iron Horse Mines by avoiding the Golems, but now I have another problem. How do you deal with the ridiculously large number of Mergoyle Wavebreaker and Bog Scale Icebreaker mobs in Scoundrel's Rise? They keep casting Deep Freeze on me and Holy Veil doesn't help very much.|||Ya I think you're just going to have to suffer through it or by the other games.|||Just walk through it and use your healing signet whenever necessary. They shouldn't do you that much harm. Also, I don't know what Templar and Knight's insignia do, but isn't there some sort of armor that gives you extra AL against elemental damage? That should help both against the mergoyle wavebreakers and the ice golems of the shiverpeaks.
Bog skales don't slow you down, btw. Unless their skills got a buff since I last time checked.|||Quote:

I was running to LA from ascalon the other day as a first-time run, and when I got to the Shiverpeaks, I encountered a slight problem. Just a slight, tiny, small problem.

You are talking about deep freeze which is a hex spell use remove hex and if crippled use mend ailment.Your gear is wrong use rune of clarity and the one that prevent disease poison and your attributes should be 14 in tactics and 13 in strength. You want is this.
Quote:
Prophecies only
[sprint]["!charge][balanced stance][healing signet][endure pain][mend ailment][remove hex][holy veil]
14 in tactics and 13 in strenght.
This is the guide btw.http://guildwars.incgamers.com/forum...d.php?t=403277|||I just tank through the mergoyles and large-scale hexes. They're incredibly annoying, but more annoying to try to deal with.
Also, shadowform is not recommended for warriors
