So how do I know that I have complete nightfall next time, will the game credits be rolled or something?|||Quote:
As of now, I have 2 primary quests on going, one is of nightfall and one is of EOTN.. I mean, I wanna complete nightfall first before moving on to other campaigns.
So how do I know that I have complete nightfall next time, will the game credits be rolled or something?
Yes, actually. You get ending credits and an epilogue. After the last mission, you're teleported to an area with various NPC's who can craft special armor and weapons, as well as receive an "endgame green" weapon. After that, you can talk to an NPC who will transport you back to Kamadan and you get the "epilogue" cinematic. That's the end of Nightfall. Eye of the North has a similar ending structure.
If you follow the story, you can pretty much guess what the final mission is going to be and recognise it when you do it.
The key is to keep following the primary quests in the same continent, if you do not have one, look around in the last place on you were before you lost it or the current outpost after a mission. Note that in Nightfall, missions are triggered by talking to NPC's in mission outposts, Prophecies/Factions, whereas there is an "Enter Mission" button on your screen and in EotN, mission NPC's may not necessarily be in outposts, but you should be guided to the right spot by the quests.|||You will know you have beaten Nightfall when you beat Abaddon in Abaddon's Gate.|||Quote:

There are several ways to know that, actually.
- You should have a book called "Night Falls" in your inventory. Check this out to see how many missions remain to be done. That book can be acquired in the Sunspear Great Hall (or in the Chantry of Secrets, but that's a little late.) That book can be turned in for Lightbringer points after it's complete, and it will help you maximize this vitally important title quite a bit. Well, the title is vitally important for the Nightfall endgame areas, at least.
- If you look at your "hero" window (I guess you have to press "h" for it by default, else search for it in your menu list), you can select the tab "titles". Somewhere in the list there, you'll see the entry "Protector of Elona". This title bar will be at 17 or 18 of 20 when you have done the last mission; that's because some of the missions are somewhat optional or mutually exclusive for a beginner. You can do these later on, once you have the appropriate heroes.
In other games, your protector title will be full after you're done with the missions, and so it's a good way to tell how far into the game you already are.
This is assuming that you're doing the bonusses in each mission right away. - By looking at the map, you can get a vague impression of how much of the area is left and how many explorable areas and missions might fit in yet. In Nightfall, however, some missions will take place away from this map, so this is also not all too accurate.
Also, on the map, you'll notice that mission outposts have a different icon than normal towns. If you should do the game again in Hardmode, then you will notice in particular that an unfinished mission looks different than a completed mission. - Finally, there will be no primary quest for the Nightfall campaign left in your mission log when you're done. But that's also the case when you have just arrived in a mission outpost and are about to do the next mission, so it's also not very accurate.

Another question: which heroes should i get before moving on to EOTN? someone strong like M.O.X lol|||It depends what team you're running. Necros are popular, and you probably already have two monks.|||It doesn't really matter which heroes you get, you get three new heroes as soon as you enter EOTN and a few more soon afterwards. They start at level 20 too so you don't have to level them up. Maybe you could get Tahlkora and Dunkoro (it's good to have different kind of monks), or if you've played a bit further, you can get Master of Whispers and make him a minion master. But like I said, it doesn't really matter so much.
Oh, and about M.O.X... he may look big and strong (and ugly), but he isn't stronger or better in any way than your other melee heroes... Which is why I hate the golems in GW. I don't think I've ever had M.O.X. in my party, if I need a dervish for something I'll much rather use Melonni or Kahmu.|||^ I have my M.O.X. set up as orders. He's much better in the backline, where he isn't in the way all the time, and I get to pretend that when he uses OoP he's actually projecting his Golem Death Field.

M.O.X. is obvious.
Then go to Nightfall and play through some stuff to get Koss (warrior), Dunkoro & Tahlkora (monks), Melonni (dervish) and your choice of either Acolyte Sousuke (elementalist) or Acolyte Jin (ranger). You can't have both early on, so:
1. If you plan to play on in Nightfall, pick Sousuke.
2. If you plan to go to EotN, pick Jin since you'll get an elementalist early in EotN anyway.
Once you finish Nightfall, you'll be able to pick up whomever you didn't get.
If you play on far enough to reach Consulate Docks, you can pick up two quests, one set in Kryta, the other one set in Kaineng, which will give you Olias (necromancer) and Zenmai (assassin) respectively. It takes a while to unlock Consulate Docks though so it's up to you.
You don't need to get all of the above mentioned heroes since very early on in EotN you'll get a monk, an elementalist and a mesmer.|||^ I have set Mox up with Dwayna's avatar and some random enchantments and some dervish healing skills as a replacement for Alesia. This is the first time I ever bothered to use him or to give him a skillbar different than his default, and I must say: he sucks.
That's not because of the weirdo skillbar - no, he performs by far better than the monk hench moron. But his size blocks the view too much.
Heroes I'd get quickly, if I wouldn't try to make it harder for myself:
- Koss, Dunkoro, Melonni, Tahlkora. Of these, I'd basically trash Koss and Melonni, but use Dunkoro and Tahlkora.
- Olias. He's always my minionmaster and I just love to have him around.
- Jin. She's good as an interrupter. Depending on your own role and profession, you might want to have one of these around.
- That means that I won't get Sousuke, and I wouldn't recruit Zenmai at all anymore.
- Then I'd travel straight ahead to EotN, grab Ogden and Vekk.
- And while there, I'd walk to the Eye and grab Gwen. She's better at interrupting than Jin, but you can also set her up with Illusion or something.
And at that point, I'd return to whatever I was doing before and continue with that. Some of the other heroes are good additions, but there's no rush to get them all as quickly as possible.
