That's probably a lot of reading though.

It can help to join a guild that likes to teach new players how the game works.

Best thing is to just go out and play. If something seems too hard or you think something should be easier to do, ask someone or search around the threads I linked or this forum. Probably someone else has asked the same question. In fact, if memory serves, there have been a few "new to the game" threads in the last few weeks, so if you just look at some of the older threads here, there have been some pretty good summaries of things to know lately.
