Good places to go skillcapping

So we all know that Perdition rock is like the land of 1000 elites.

At least two of every core profession is represented there.

Dragon's Throat is a good location, one of every profession for factions.

The tahnaki temple mission is another good one, though you have to hardcore remember to cap while in it. On more then one occasion, I've started it, gone in, especially with other people. ("I'm just skillcapping." "can we come with you? We just need a little help for part of the way" "... okay"..... 2 bosses after the boss I was supposed to cap "DAMNNIT!")

A land of heros is a good one as well, as it has some elites that aren't available until way late in the game. (and some non elites as well)

So what are other good capping locations?|||Considering that you need all the elite skills for the title, any place with a boss that has an elite skill is a "good capping location".|||Generally, start your capping in Factions. Most of the bosses are fairly close to towns.

Once you have that completed, move to Nightfall. Not as fast as Factions, but definitely faster than Prophecies.

Everything is slower in Prophecies (tm).|||In addition to the ones mentioned before, I like Witmans Folly (small area, connected to two towns, one of each core profession always present, two eles), and Kournan areas in general (very few bosses with shared spawn points, the areas, while being large, are connected to towns and easy to move around without pain-in-the-*** stuff like in most of southern shiverpeaks with a billion KDing mobs that you absolutely have to fight.)

And, of course, various missions. Thirsty River, Tahnnakai Temple, Raisu Palace all have a boss for each profession found in that campaign. For capping purposes Boreas Seabed is also nice since it has 6 different bosses right at the start.

Also, yea, Factions is nice. Especially since You don't have places like Dreadnoughts Drift that require ridiculous amounts of travelling to get there just for a possibility of something spawning. Shared spawn points+long distances from towns+lots of unavoidable enemies=annoyance.|||Depends on whether skill-capping for Legendary Survivor title or Skill-hunter title. For the former, there are areas and certain bosses to avoid, while for the later it is any place with a boss that has an elite skill. Bear in mind also that if you are hoping for greens to drop, most Prophesies bosses do not drop greens. I have 3 characters ( a smite monk, blood necro and illusion mesmer ) that all have over 1.1 million xp and have finished Prophesies, so might just use this opportunity to let them reach LS.|||I've been taking advantage of the WiK bounties and other related boss spawns. Great way to cap some elites that aren't necessarily easy to get otherwise.|||I used this

http://guildwars.wikia.com/wiki/Skil...pture_location|||Now THAT looks handy. :)|||Quote:

I used skill tomes for most of my Proph only skills to get Alessandra LSH...I remember just how frustrating it was trying ti skill cap on Kahlan...it was a major pain.|||Noa, if you're looking for the easy elite captures instead of just all of them for the title, then I'd suggest the following:

- just outside of Droknar's Forge is either Escape or Battle Rage.

- just outside of The Eye is another one. Crippling Shot, I think?

- I like to capture elites in Thirty River: Fixed Boss locations, unique Tyrian ones instead of core ones, and it isn't taking too long to get them all.

- I also like the Ice Caves of Sorrow: Fixed Boss locations, and all but Dwarven Battlestance and erm the summit ranger elite can be captured

- For Mursaat elites, I'd vote for Abaddon's Mouth. All of them are guaranteed to spawn, and the one you're looking for can't be the boss that ends the mission before you can capture his elite.

- Grenth's Footprint is a bit annoying because of the randomly chosen boss spawning points, but you can get the missing summit eliteskills there.

- Outside of Fort Rankor (Camp Rankor? The one northwest of Droknar's Forge, I mean), if you head to the left, you can capture all of the griffon eliteskills with some repeated visits of the place.

So far for the continent of Tyria. Cantha and Elona are paradises in comparison, because you always know where the bosses hang around. I very much like to capture stuff in Kourna; less so in Cantha, because the afflicted go boom.
